Literary Publicity

A Literary Publicist has the media contacts and the industry relationships available in order to generate appropriate press coverage and bring exposure to your title.  A publicist also knows the techniques and style of how a journalist likes to receive pitches and material.

Its good to have a DIY plan, particularly when on a budget, but a Literary Publicist on your side will take the appointments, can be your designated liaison to your publisher or publisher’s internal marketing department, take and respond to all calls, posts, texts, emails from media 24/7 so that you can rest, write and be ready for the interviews.  Your publicist will also serve as a coach to prep you before important appearances.
