Development and Packaging/Producing
The creation of a television series involves several factors and of course time to develop it correctly for mass appeal. There are a few factors in TV that are considered such as pitching and/or presenting the project during seasonal times. Television has pilot season where most new shows are presented for possible network or cable pickup for placement. The most common is the Fall Season line-up, Mid-Season and also shows picked as Mid-Season Replacements. We will professionally package the project so that it appeals to: Production Companies, Producers, Studio Executives, Packaging Agencies, Top Tier Talent, and more. Here are the options that we package projects –
- Television Production Development – This takes the most time (can be over a year pending on the project’s preliminary demand and the market), but we will take the lead as the Executive Producers of the project. We will develop the script, the budget, secure financing, prepare the EPK and/or teaser trailer, coordinate talent interest, production and coordinate the distribution process.
- Project Packaging as your representative – As the packaging Producer for your film we will prepare all materials, such as press information and audio/video into an EPK or teaser trailer to go as part of a presentation to development producers, talent and sometimes partnering with a packaging agency.
- Internet Television Development & Distribution - This package will get your project started and into production quicker as we will set the show up with an internet distributor through a partnership with BlipTV which syndicates shows to networks such as: Hulu, TVU Networks, YouTube and Revision3 to name a few. BlipTV also syndicates to mainstream television networks and TIVO for possible pickup. We will also create a website and YouTube Channel for the show. This method allows us to develop, produce, promote and develop a buzz for a show. Examples of popular shows had beginnings online first and then went on to major distribution: In the Motherhood Yahoo! Web Series picked up by NBC, The Guild by Microsoft for the Xbox Marketplace, Gemini Division by NBC and We Need Girlfriends by CBS. What all the shows have in common is that they built a following online, created a user-generated interactive fan base and had a type of unique edge.
